Regret 006; [Action] SCREW THE BANDWAGON

[Zan'nen hasn't been feeling well the past few days. In fact, tonight he's feeling quite ill. Trying not to wake his roommate, Zan'nen leaves the apartment and heads outside to the square in the hopes that the cool night air will clear his head. It's too bad he doesn't make it there.

Zan'nen collapses behind the bakery. Sorry to interrupt your good night's sleep Luceti, but there will be a long anguished scream of pain disrupting you shortly.]

So, basically, Zan'nen gets to experience all the lovely feelings of your body transforming into something else while he's conscious. Canonically, when a Human turns into an Auria, it's messy business. Including such lovely things as throwing up your old organs and growing new ones. Quickly, of course. Else he'd be dead. 8|

When it's over, Zan'nen will have a new pair of large black wings to join his traditional Luceti ones, and dark green leaves located both on his wrists and behind his ears. You may see some odd flickering of strange markings appearing on his skin once in a while if you speak to him as well, but these are pretty much hidden naturally.

[When the event concludes, Zan'nen will wake up his old, boring, human self again.]

[It wasn't the scream that made Kaori suddenly jerk into a sitting position that evening (because everyone knows how much she hates being woken up via scream). It was more the sensation that someone else like her was here. She could tell by the loss of loneliness, the wonderful gratitude coming from with her. And... the warm feeling of familiarity. Not only that...

Without even realizing it, her two pairs of natural wings sprouted from her back, giving her the sense of liberation that often came with it. For some reason it wasn't painful at all, like it should have been any other time she'd kept them in this long. She'd been trying to keep them a secret from the rest of the village, after all, which meant that they would have forced themselves out eventually. But there was no pain at all, just happiness in it's raw, purest form. This wasn't just any other one of her kindred, was it? This was the one they had been searching for all this time. And she was so close...

But how? Wasn't the New Feather cycle over? She would have noticed if anyone like her had entered, especially this one. Was their power so great that she could hide who she is from her? Perhaps that was why this one had eluded them for so long, then. After all, they were blessed by Areth'ella... Why...?

The sheer amount of it leaves her still for a long while, gaze turned toward what would be her hands gripping the blankets so tightly blood was having difficulty passing through, nails breaking the skin they dug into. She's just listening... listening to that beautiful aria that was the person everyone so desperately loved and wanted back with them. The one she needed to seek out now, even with tears running down her face. Even if she was having difficulty remembering how to breathe.

No matter. She'll allow instinct to take over, to carry her to this person... because right now, she really needed her.]
